Drag to turn the house

The interactive house needs WebGL. The scenes below still show what happens at home.

Kraków · all of Poland · since 2009

Your wholehome in onegesture.

We design and install audio-video systems, home cinemas, lighting control and KNX automation — then weave them into one system you run with a single touch.

Grupa Arachne Multimedia

Arachne wove so well that no one could see the threads.

In Greek myth Arachne was a weaver so skilled that not even a goddess could match her cloth. We took our name from her — and our way of working.

We weave sound, picture, light, climate and security into one whole. Cables vanish into the walls, remotes into a drawer, and the technology steps back. What is left is comfort: one app, one panel, one gesture.

Services

Seven threads. One system.

Each of these systems works on its own. Real comfort starts when we join them — then one “Cinema” button dims the lights, closes the blinds, lowers the screen and starts the sound.

Integration and control

One panel instead of ten remotes

We join every system in a home or building into one consistent interface: an RTI remote, a wall panel, an iPad in a Basalte frame or a phone app. Scenes run complex sequences with one button, and we design the panel around the people who use it.

  • RTI and Crestron remotes and panels
  • iOS and Android apps, remote access
  • scenes, schedules and conditions
  • an iPad in a Basalte frame as a wall panel

Home cinema

Design a cinema room in a minute.

Enter the room size and the planner places the speakers following Dolby Atmos guidelines and suggests a screen size for your seating distance. Then press “Test” and listen — with your eyes.

The planner is a guide: angles follow Dolby guidelines for Atmos layouts, the screen a 30–40° viewing angle (SMPTE/THX). The final design follows a visit and acoustic measurements of the room.

Projects

Technology you don’t see. An effect that stays.

Selected projects from Kraków and beyond: residences and apartments, hotels, restaurants and public venues. Many were made together with interior designers.

How we work

From the first call to the “Good night” scene.

It is best to start before the plastering — then the cables go exactly where they are needed. We upgrade existing buildings too.

  1. Conversation and initial quote

We get to know the building, your needs and your budget, prepare an initial quote and then arrange a site visit.

  2. System design

We choose the equipment and plan the installation — ideally with your architect, so the technology fits the interior design.

  3. Cabling

During construction or renovation we run the cables and prepare the places for the devices, following the building schedule.

  4. Installation and programming

We install the devices, program the scenes and panels, and calibrate picture and sound.

  5. Handover and care

We teach you how to use it, hand over the documentation and help when the system needs to grow with you.

Products

We work with the industry’s leading equipment.

We choose what works best in each building — from control and automation to speakers and screens.

Questions

Before you call.

When is the best time to plan a smart home?

At the design stage or the shell stage, before plastering. Then the cables go exactly where they are needed and devices can disappear into walls and ceilings. For existing buildings we choose solutions that don’t mean tearing the house apart.

KNX or a wireless system?

KNX is a wired, open standard that doesn’t depend on one manufacturer — excellent in new and large buildings. When upgrading, wireless solutions are often a better fit. We advise once we know the building and your needs.

Can I control everything from my phone?

Yes — from an iOS or Android app, plus wall panels, RTI remotes or an iPad in a frame. When the system is connected to the internet it also works remotely, from anywhere in the world.

Won’t it be too complicated to use?

That is exactly what integration is for. We design the interface around the household: the most common tasks are one scene button, and all the technology works in the background. After installation we show you how to use it.

Do you work with architects?

Yes, gladly and for years — with interior designers we agree which elements to show and which to hide. It is best to invite us at the design stage.

Do you only work in Kraków?

Our office is in Kraków and most of our projects are here, but we work all over Poland — a residence in Częstochowa is one example.

Can an existing system be extended or upgraded?

Yes. We extend and upgrade existing installations — home cinemas included — and add control to equipment you already have. We provide service both under and after warranty.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the building and the scope — from one audio zone to automation of a whole house. After a conversation we prepare an initial quote, and a detailed estimate after the site visit and design.
